FFS, do bears shit in the woods? He lost "awareness" ages ago, that archive footage they keep rolling out, him sitting there at the dinner table with his family, clearly shows a very old man who has not a fucking clue about whats going on around him and has all the reactions of a heavily botoxed sloth. Fuckity fuck.

I hope you are right (give or take a day or two) because if by some miracle he makes it to the end of the year he will on every DDP (including theme teams) - "I never realised Nelson Mandela appeared in Last of the Summer Wine" Hmmm. Does anyone know if he's been in panto or done any Morris dancing? Apparently he was a regular on the Black and White Minstrel Show

Out of curiosity, have any other "nostalgia" acts made the top 20 since Jim and Vera? I've not heard of any but surely album sales have continued to decline since 2009, leavingthe door open for a Doris Day or an Engelbert Humperdinck to have another crack at chart glory. David Bowie?

This brought back memories for me, having lived in Australia in the early 80s, and it got me thinking about Mrs Mangel. Now, when I got divorced about 5 years ago, I changed my surname, but didn't want to go back to my maiden name, and so had the opportunity to pick whatever name I liked (Smith, for the record). Very soon after changing my name, I met my current fuckbuddy, . I have just had a conversation with him, and asked him if I had changed my name to Mrs Mangel would he have still fancied me, and he said no! IF ONLY I'D PICKED MANGEL! It was probably that your first name is Massivetits that got you the gig, though! Mind you, Massivetits Mangel does have a ring to it, like out of a Russ Meyer film...

I used to like A Country Practice, Sons and Daughters and Young Doctors, quality Aussie tat. Thank you LFN. PS: I wonder if the wombat who played a supporting role in ACP is still alive. Anybody?

Good spot, then again there might be a master plan where they re-assemble the removed parts after a series of operations and he joins The Red Hot Chilli Peppers or some other lot without having to incur a penalty for breaking his Bon Jovi contract. Wash your mouth out Sir! Nobody from a bunch of poofy wankers like Bon Jovi would ever be cool enough to play with the legend that is Flea. Fair point Lardy, I stand corrected; he might make a Black Crowe at best, eh? Now, there's another bunch of twats - I loved them when they first arrived, went to see them at the Colston Hall in Bristol, got pissed and passed out in the foyer, and my dad had to come and pick me up - but then they went all wanky and rubbish. So yes, I will allow that one

A new film about Madiba has had it's premier at the Toronto Film Festival. "Early scenes in Justin Chadwick's film show Mandela as a womaniser who was violent to his first wife Evelyn." The first of many I suspect, to dissect the great man's life and work. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24010839

I concur with my esteemed colleague Alphonsin; your limited punctuation, spelling and grammar skills somewhat undermine the 'good job' claims and your somewhat superior tone. Incidentally, we're not spotty geeks, something that's been established as various facts relating to employment etc. have appeared on other threads. We are - however - a bit rock 'n' roll in some of our posting. I'd have thought those involved in record production would appreciate that. Go well and please pass on our regards to Jill
