I often get told that before I can make fun of the disabled, that I should put myself in their place. So last weekend I did. I have to say that those parking spaces are great.

Why, thanks for asking CoF. Big album is the newie by Soft Walls (sound a lot like Spiritualized - so we'll play some Spiritualised too), we're also playing a sizeable chunk of a new album by a bloke called Robert Reed that is an uncanny ringer for a 2014 remake of Tubular Bells. Other delights include a track from the new(ish) album by Spoon, a paint-peeler from Neil Sedaka's album for kids and a jaw dropper to start us off called "Rockin' with the Sikh" by Peter Singh (the Panjabi Elvis). All on from 10-midnight http://www.miskinradio.co.uk Next week The Ethel Merman Disco Album. Wow! I had forgotten that exists. In the very early 1980s I was a roller-skating barman in a very camp "fun-pub" nightclub and one of the DJs would play a track at the end of the night to help clear the place.

I bought a pack of lamb chops the other day. On the pack it said "reared in Wales". I thought that was just a racist stereotype.

Oh dear, the whole thing really has been a mess. I don't know why, but I find this very sad - troll or no troll - that she felt it had to come this. A bloke outed by journalists entrapping paedos (46 year old dad as well) also killed himself recently. Two things occur to me off this: 1 - A lot of the worst trolls, prone to erupting in fits of online abuse, are cases with serious psychological baggage and probably weaker and more generally vulnerable than their victims. 2 - Once the press have outed and roundly beseiged a few more of these types (with predicatably catastrophic results) the new press regulation framework won't look so robust. It might be scum (journalist) on scum (get a life) abuse as far as many of the public are concerned but it's questionable how many times you can argue "public interest" in the face of a suicide.

Not quite. She still has Queen Victoria's record reign in her sights, which will be claimed less than a year from now... Then she'll do Desert Island Discs. Who Do You Think You Are would be a bit pointless.

Did someone do their degree in Irony? It is from American Psycho. The more commercialised Genesis becomes, the more the serial killer likes them. That makes way more sense now.

I like Still but not Bankstatement. A Curious Feeling and Strictly, Inc. are probably his two best solo albums, though, IMHO. I used to be a big fan of Tony's as he was the person most responsible for som great Genesis songs from Firth of Fifth and most of the music on Wind and Wuthering through to some of the more interesting 1980s material like Me and Sarah Jane, Evidence of Autumn, Domino and The Brazilian. I have gone off him a lot though due to the cheesiness of some of his synth sounds and the morbidity of a lot of his lyrics (says I, a DeathLister!) especiallywhat he was composing on And Then There Were Three but even some of his more modern doom-'n'-gloom-fests too. I think that Tony's biggest problem is that a lot of what you refer to as doom n gloom fests effectively come across as a little whingy. He was born into privilege and has been successful from quite an early age. So what comes across is middle class angst rather than an expression of the futility of existence. I still think he is a very clever writer and some of the early Genesis mythological tracks owe him an awful lot.

Collin's was always a better drummer than he is a singer. That's true for most drummers. regards, Hein

For the uninitiated (me included especially), would you mind letting us know what 'pornogrind' is? Maybe one or two links to Wiki entries, yootoob videos? Thanks awfully.

I think he's trying to access his 2015 DDP List.

Perhaps their garage is full of junk. My garage is a 2-car garage, but it's currently full of junk that I've been gradually clearing out each week. I don't want to hire a skip, so I've slowly been disposing of stuff each week when the bin men come round. There's enough space at the moment for one of us to park inside, but the other parks in the driveway.

Our posts crossed. I put it in Curse of the Eurovision with a link. It would be handy if there was a function where you could post to mutiple topics at the same time. Please no......

Sorry but for the 500th time we can't view the Enquirer website over here in Yoorup. We just get a blank white page with the message "service not available in your area". Could you guys please copy+paste some of the article or something next time.....? Even if you are saying it's crap.....
