5 pointsDidn't voice Frieza in Dragon Ball Z, but rather in some of the later Dragon Ball series. In DBZ it was actually a woman... Linda Young (wiki). As far as I'm aware, all of the voice cast of the main English dub of DBZ are quite incredibly still with us, but a lot of the original Japanese voices are dead. Used to love DBZ when I was a kid. Went round to my neighbours house every day after school to watch it because we only had terrestrial TV in my house until I was 12!

4 pointsI’ll just pop Leslie Bricusse in here if that’s ok with everyone. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58970326 If I could talk to the animals, just imagine it Chattin' with a chimp in chimpanzee Imagine talking to a tiger, chatting with a cheetah What a neat achievement it would be If we could talk to the animals, learn all their languages Maybe take an animal degree I'd study elephant and eagle, buffalo and beagle Alligator, guinea pig, and flea I would converse in polar bear and python And I would curse in fluent kangaroo If people ask me, "Can you speak rhinoceros?" I'd say, "Of courseros, can't you?" If I conferred with our furry friends, man to animal Think of the amazing repartee If I could walk with the animals, talk with the animals Grunt and squeak and squawk with the animals And they could talk to me If I consulted with quadrupeds Think what fun we'd have asking over crocodiles for tea Or maybe lunch with two or three lions, walruses and sea lions What a lovely place the world would be If I spoke slang to orangutans The advantages why any fool on earth could plainly see Discussing Eastern art and dramas, with intellectual llamas That's a big step forward you'll agree I'd learn to speak in antelope and turtle And my Pekingese would be extremely good If I were asked to sing in hippopotamus I'd say, "Why notamus" and I would If I could parlay with pachyderms It's a fairy tale worthy of Hans Anderson and Grimm A man who walks with the animals and talks with the animals Grunts, and squeaks, and squawks with the animals And they could talk to him Let me hear 'em talk I'd study every creature's language So I could speak to all of them on site If friends said, "Can he talk in crab or maybe pelican?" You'd say, "Like hell he can" and you'd be right And if you just stop and think of it, ain't no doubt of it I'm gonna win a place in history If I could walk with the animals, talk with the animals Grunt, squeak, squawk with the animals And they could squeak, and squawk, and speak, and talk to me

2 pointshttps://www.is.fi/taloussanomat/art-2000008345826.html Meat company owner Veijo Votkin dead aged 73 from a long illness. He was the owner of Lihatukku Veijo Votkin Oy (the company also used an english name, "Chef Wotkins") that he founded in 1978. Used to sell alligator meat (and once sold cobra meat) until the EU put an end to that. He was on trial in 2019 for buying one hundred kilos of bear meat from Estonia.

2 pointsI predict Paul Hogan, Frank Langella, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Harvey Keitel, and Bob Newhart will go in 2022. I hope Feinstein, Waters, and Pelosi go too. It’s time to purge Congress.

2 pointsStill has a lot of memories from the two war, able to make joke about tiboinshape beauty (as she’s blind she asks him if he is beautiful, translation for non french speaker), still completely lucid and has some energy, the only thing that has changed is her voice which seems frail but besides it’s impressive ! Looks better than Kane now, I don’t remember if we had a video such as this one when Tanaka was 117 and a half to compare ?! now that I saw the video till the end ( I shouldn’t have ruched in) : she still drinks one glass of wine per day, she had a twin sister who died when they were one yo. Apparently she worked as a nurse in a retirement home till her 100th birthday and had to take care of people who where 20 years less than her. She also remembers all the ages of her great grand-nephews and nieces, pretty incredible. It’s incredibly touching to hear her talk, she had a beautiful langage, the one we doesn’t hear much nowadays anymore

1 pointGot some information from a friend from the West Indies. It turns out my friend has a distant connection to former West Indies player Vanburn Holder who was on the 1975 World Cup Squad and from what my friend knows, Vanburn Holder is not in the greatest of health these days though my friend does not know details. Also worth thinking about his teammates Bernard Julien, who survived cancer in the 2000's, as well as Lance Gibbs and Rohan Kanhai (both aged over 85).

1 pointShe looks well on Who Do You Think You are. Up until she nearly has a heart attack when she finds she's related to people who worked with Danish nobility who lived at the castle which inspired Hamlet, the relative met Will Kempe and another relative is Tycho Brahe who was a very famous astronomer. That is a very TLDW description.

1 pointKane has an over twice shorter time (75 days versus 172 days, 97 after his 119th) to 119 than to becoming the second-oldest verified person ever. I think she'll make it to 119 but won't reach the age Knauss was at death.

1 pointWhat’s wrong with her eyes and her mouth ? She seems tense. She looks a lot like her mother prior to her death. I’m beginning to wonder if she’s gonna reach the century now...

1 pointAccording to one obituary he was a close friend of Prince Philip - quite possibly in Philip's final years he was the only close acquaintance who was actually older than Philip. (Unless Philip's reported cricket interests meant he was a friend of Eileen Ash who will be 110 (not 100 as printed earlier)later this month.)

1 pointAhahah completely dumb, it’s the YouTuber Tiboinshape (huge name in France but quite controversial). on an other hand, she looks old but fine. Still hope she’ll be the oldest alive one day, she deserves it after having been in the shadow of Kane Tanaka For so long despite her age !

1 pointLooks and sounds a bit worse than in February when she got to 117, but I think she'll make it to 118 (four months). Randon was already in a wheelchair before her supercentenarian years, can still talk and move her hands. Hasn't declined a lot since then.

1 pointHas missed the last 7 weeks of TV due to COPD health issues and hasn't tweeted in over a month. This is basically the "msc posts updates on the guy all the non-wrestling fans have in their DDP team" thread somehow...

1 pointProper avant garde and minimalist, American composer Harold Budd being reported dead: Looks like he was in London earlier this year. Doesn't appear to have a mention on the Forum up to now.
