2 pointsThe 7 left that I would put through are currently in the top 9, so I'll take that. Not expecting to get all 7 through though. And Shakira was still robbed.

1 pointI was surprised to find that Arthur Scargill, trade unionist, enemy of Thatcher, leader of the Miner's Strike of 1984-85, and overall very Deathlisty name hadn't received his own thread. He seems to be in decent nick for his age, 86, and shows no signs of slowing down. He may be with us for many years yet to come, but anything can happen at his age, and he is definitely within the territory of a potential A-list name for the committee to bear in mind heading into the future.

1 pointEdward Bond, controversial playwright but one of the best imo, being reported dead. That's two former picks of mine dead in 2 days (if true of course). . Nevertheleless, a current DDP pick.

1 pointListening to him whinge and whine and moan. Obviously a great asset to America and its future. (jk). What I find hilarious is he's linking Biden to his prosecutions by the DOJ. Biden has clearly kept the DOJ at arms length. Trump himself however used his DOJ as his personal lawyers. Pay your fucking bills and fines and what you owe E Jean Carroll, disavow the insurrectionists and maybe we can take you seriously. Apart from all the conspiracy theories he believes. I'm amazed he is still in the running and could win this thing.

1 pointToday is the Iranian legislative election, so a lot of very old Ayatollahs have appeared to cast their votes. Some images below. Grand Ayatollah Hossein Noori Hamedani (98): Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati (97): Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi (97): Grand Ayatollah Ja'far Sobhani (94): I'll add more to this post later today if I find any. Many of the 90+ ayatollahs are very "overdue" and clearly getting frailer.

1 pointThat's a great idea. I'm introducing to these forums Swarabguru Bajarpraktiyayaoabha, Bangladeshi Hindu leader born 1929 who's been suffering from octogenic premarital leukemia since the 1980s and Mufti Muhammad Al-Hadi Alhaylaab-Al-Islam, North Kenyan sunni islamic godman, statistician & professional coffee brewer born 1937. Jokes aside, Rambhad...whateverhisnameis has been on my radar for a few months, last month I dedicated a post to him in the birthday thread. A religious leader, musician, educator, poet, composer and grammarian who can speak 22 languages and is considered a saint. Blind since he was two months old. Founder of Tulsi Peeth and author of Shriraghavkripabhashyam and Srisitaramasuprabhatam. My imagination isn't enough to make even half of all that up. Wikipedia suprisingly has a lot of articles dedicated to him, atleast "Timeline of Rambhadracharya", "List of awards and honours received by Rambhadracharya" and "Works of Rambhadracharya". They are all as interesting to read as the 17000 words dedicated to Lisa Murkowski's political views.
