Being 93 next September, a former heroin addict, and a long-term sufferer of Pulmonary Fibrosis, he isn't exactly in the best shape at the moment. I'm not a big music person, so I had no idea he was famous enough, having first discovered him doing some research on those with a Kennedy Center Honour, as there is usually one recipient a good few years older than the rest each year.

Obviously still need to work on my other half and of course revise these should we have a busy end to 2022. Any ideas/thoughts? Following the sad death of Leslie Phillips I have now entered Pope Benedict XVI in spot 14. Continuing the second half of my provisional shadow list: 26) Julie Goodyear 27) Rosalynn Carter 28) Yoko Ono 29) Bob Barker 30) Constantine II 31) Ethel Kennedy 32) Sonny Rollins 33) Paul Hogan 34) Vladimir Putin 35) Liza Minelli 36) June Spencer 37) George Soros 38) Burt Bacharach 39) Kenneth Cope 40) Grace Slick 41) Ricky Tomlinson 42) Dickie Bird 43) William Russell 44) Chaim Topol 45) Sandra Day O' Connor 46) Rob Burrow 47) Gene Hackman 48) Alain Delon 49) Petula Clark 50) Brian Blessed My 5 subs I would offer at this stage are: 1) Ted Turner , 2) Nigel Starmer-Smith, 3) Roberta Flack, 4) Val Kilmer, 5) Alan Greenspan. In a few days time if things remain as they are I will put this list in for Shadow Death List Competition 2023. Whilst I have suggested names others have already listed I've tried to offer some alternative suggestions which I appreciate may appear quite random but of course within any 12 months surprise deaths can happen. Thoughts/ideas I am warmly open too. Good luck to all on here as there are plenty of choices and it is difficult to consider 50 strong candidates.

wildstorm 297 Posted November 10, 2022 names i'm considering outside of the ones in the above lists, or featured on the DL main (note: depending on your location they may not meet the fame requirement): Ted Turner (television producer: founder of CNN/TNT), 84, lewy body dementia since 2018 Michael Caine (actor), 89, old and frail, yall are aware Borje Salming (hall of fame hockey player), 71, ALS, already lost ability to speak and eat Stella Stevens (actress), 84, dementia for years (tip of the hat to goosebury for the suggestion elsewhere on the site) Lindsey Buckingham (fleetwood mac), 73, emergency heart surgery in 2019 and undisclosed 'ongoing' health issues cancelling all concerts this year (not even postponing) and lack of updates. Alice Munro (nobel prize-winning author), 91, in poor health for years (i'm stubborn and will keep her on my list until she goes) Sir Quentin Blake (artist, and illustrator: Roald Dahl), 90, just old (one of those 'surprised he's still alive' entries) Gordon Lightfoot (Singer), 84, emphysema and somewhat frail Roger Corman (Director/Producer) 96, just old others that i'm considering for the role of joker, just because of general health concerns: Phil Collins, Salman Rushdie, Jimmy Buffett, Tim Curry

Yeah, as I remarked on his thread, it's incredibly sad. I think he's famous enough (performed with Journey, music producer, American Idol judge) that he should be added to the list. It would be a remarkable upset, unfortunately, if he's alive in 2024. Has to be a must-add to the '23 List.
