McCall (c), Frank Field, Brian Morris, Rod Marsh, Vic Elford, Julia Reichert, George Pérez, Vicky Phelan, Jorge Spedaletti, Ma Shitu, V.S. Achuthanandan Okay, let’s have a looky here. Firstly, I must confess to being a bit of a prat. I was confused at seeing Ma Shitu, my first sub, in my team, but I’ve looked and in my PM copypasta I obviously failed to highlight my 11th name, which would’ve been Irene Papas. Never mind… A few names in common here; Reichert, Phelan, Achuthanandan, Elford, McCall (my J) and Pérez (Cho’s J). Points I think I’ll pull back with Frank Field and one of Marsh or Spedaletti, I think I’ll drop to Sanchez, Toshack (who wasn’t on my radar at all) and Caldwell. I predict CCH 12-9 TQR. Like Grim I also dropped Sanchez late on. Nigel Starmer-Smith seems the most obvious danger as a 4 pointer who could go any time. My conclusion is that MariNisia has a good team with the potential to really do a number on my mediocre efforts. Sounded like food poisoning to me. Yes, I rejected him as well, didn't seem that urgent to me. But well, at 93 anything can happen. I also rejected Nigel Taylor as too early, but of course, now it's an 8 point joker for Spade. That's unfortunate for me, as it makes it worth the risk. At least, Silas Alexander, Shahabuddin Ahmed and Dave Gaunce are unique for me. Those three have to make the difference.
