I could see Kim Novak,  Clive Davis, Jane Goodall, Carol Burnett, Barry Humphries, John Williams and Rita Moreno on future lists but I’m not sure the rest are famous enough.

Yeah, I know the french names (hello Ullitzer) are not deathlisty ones. Maybe Vanoni and Rotschild are famous enough though

A few people who are turning 89-90-91 this year and who are scarcely mentioned here

• Kim Novac (b. 1933) : hitchock legend

• Ornella Vanoni (b.1934) : italian singer

• Clive Davis (b. 1932) producer

• Jane Goodall (b. 1932) : gorilla's friend

• Carol Burnett (b. 1933) : actress and comedian

• Dame Edna (b. 1934) : drag queen

• John Williams (b. 1932) : composer

• Rita Moreno (b. 1931) : actress legend

• Nadine de Rotschild (b. 1932) : socialite

• Costa Gavras (b. 1933) : screenwriter and director

• Claude Zidi (b. 1934)  screenwriter and director

• Nadine Trintignant (b. 1934) : screenwriter and director

• Jean Paul Rappeneau (b. 1932) screenwriter and director

I think they would be famous enough to be included into the official list (or at least your personal one).

Ion Illiescu (b.1930) and John Stafford (b. 1930) are not mentioned enough here also.

Correction, Jane Goodall was friends with Chimps, it was Dian Fossey who was friends with the Gorillas, but she died back in 1985.

Blondie Chaplin ? member of the Beach Boys who will turn "only" 72 this year but based on this photo from the group 2021 tour, I don't see him making it to 80.

Also, is there a thread for the Beach Boys ? Almost all of the original members are still alive but in their early 80. Some of them wouldn't be such bad calls.

There is a Brian Wilson one I suppose other Beach Boys could be mentioned in:

There is an incredibly interesting story behind the donor of Rod Carew's heart. He was Konrad Reuland, an NFL player inspired to dedicate his life to sport by none other than Rod Carew, after the Baseball player visited his school.

Three of the five are still alive - Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and Mike Love - to be precise.

Blondie has always sorta looked like that though. On stage, he is very energetic. I’d say Brian is the better bet - I think he’s finally retired from touring.

David Marks is still around too - he played on their first few albums through 1962 and 1963, replacing Jardine who was at college, but wasn't on their debut single.

Husband and wife actors Leila (IMDb) and Alfred Hoffman (IMDb) are both still alive.

Leila will be 90 next year, but is still active (most recently in the Bad Education reboot)

Alfred will be 100 next year, seemingly stopped acting a few years ago

I'd assume they'd both get QOs considering they both have decade long TV careers

This is an old video from 2019, but she still has been invited as a guest for the final evening on Saturday.

quite surprise to see that french showgirl Bambi (b. 1935) is still alive. A legend in the Cabaret scene out there, one of the most prominent trans woman in France and one of the earliest to came out in the 50-60's. Will probably obit in UK I think, since the death of Regine last year and Michou in 2020, she's probably the most well-known "meneuse de revue" still alive. Will include her in my list next year if she's still alive. Also actress and writter now.

still gave an interview in december 2022 (or was it just a reboot of an old one ?) and looked quite well

Terrible start in life, witnessing her mum being shot dead by a hunter.

I am not saying these would be better picks and my areas of interest are quite clear from the names selected

I lost a lot of data last year so my list of those names that has not been picked for eight years of so is gone but I might be able to update last year's top 20

All of these would be good 20/20+3 names

You had me second guessing my own theme team there. Edward De souza present and correct.
