Given your history at this, I did have to double-check that you didn't just post a picture of him with an ornament he had picked up off his mantlepiece. But no, that is indeed Harry Belafonte with his Leopard Career Award at the 65th Locarno Film Festival in 2012. Bonus point for you! 1

On a complete tangent, while looking up GUB's picture of Harry Belafonte's award , I came across a list of winners of the Locarno Film Festival's Leopard of Honour winners, for "Life's work achievement". A long list of illustrious names including Ennio Morricone (1989), Jean-Luc Goddard (1995), Sydney Pollack (2002), Werner Herzog (2013). and, eh, Matt Dillon (2022). I will admit that I am no film buff, so I may be missing something here, but what the fuck??

An Fear Beag 1,535 Posted May 6, 2023 Update time, as your host continues to sully the name of this much-maligned pool by actually keeping it up to date. It would have been done sooner, but we have been awaiting a decision from chief adjudicator @Clorox Bleachman on Barry Humphries. Humphries died from complications of surgery following a fall, so I asked for an adjudication as to whether that might sneak an unnatural death bonus. After a long period of reflection, Clorox made a wise and considered judgement which can be summarised as "fucked if I know, see what @Death Impendsdoes in the DDP". No unnatural death bonus in the DDP, means no unnatural death bonus here. ThereWillBeDeaths7 725 Posted May 6, 2023 Just now realised I had Barry Humphries in my team. Four out of six hits as of now, did not expect that! If I can still submit my award picture for mr. Humphries, I present you: Barry Humphries receiving the Wizard of Oz award from (then) Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall for his fictional character Sir Les Patterson at the Oldie Of The Year Awards 2021. This happened at The Savoy Hotel in London. If not, look! Elderly Dame reluctantly accepts a framed picture which says "I'll die" from a future Queen and dies within two years! It's about bloody time one of you realised that you had picked him! Picture bonuses can be claimed at any time, and that is definitely him receiving a prize, so 1 bonus point to you. Its bad news for @Pedro67, I'm afraid. It is -2 for the last person to submit a picture, and when only two people pick him .... So for correctly predicting that Barry Humphreys would not see out the year, Pedro gets they princely sum of -1 point , and joins his good wife on 0 points. I thought someone in the LGBT+ community should have given them some recognition but I suppose they were too early, too subtle and performed material written by Gyles Brandreth. He was a unique DDP pick though I did love the fact that I discovered that at an early review they performed at Peggy Ashcroft did not realise they were a drag act and thought they were genuinely two elderly lesbians
