Worth noting that a song heavily sampling "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" went to #1 for a single week last September.

 

 

Widely considered to be one of the worst hits of recent times, but I don't think it's that bad. The original is already a bit crap, so it's not sacrilegious to make a more OTT version.
