I just think it's ridiculous amounts of money for something that requires no real skill and carries little responsibility, compared with being a surgeon or running the country, respectively. A bit of lazy stereotyping there. There's a skill to television presenting and a bit of responsibility too. How would you have announced the Queen's death?

How would you have announced the Queen's death? It depends on the type of programme. Obviously some subjects benefit from an expert presenter with a real depth of knowledge and experience, eg Sir David Attenborough. News and current affairs require some gravitas. OTOH presenting in the entertainment sphere is more a matter of personality and confidence, and some people will naturally have that. Either way it doesn't take years of study to achieve it - you either have it or you don't.

Toast 16,139 Posted July 29 Quote Mr Edwards is accused of having six category A images, the most serious classification of indecent images, on a phone. He is also accused of making 12 category B pictures and 19 category C photographs. That does sound like it's not just teenagers. 1

I can't see the justification for pretending certain people never existed because they've done something wrong. If there was any consistency to it, much of history would be wiped.
