YoungWillz 21,524 Posted December 30, 2024 In a little over 24 hours, all the suggestions, ideas and desperate plugs for favourites will be done and the weeping, wailing and sometimes praise will overflow. Until then, I have no comment on the 2025 list - because I don't know what it is. Only @Book knows my selections/predictions. Excitement is as high as it can be. Paul Bearer 6,214 Posted December 30, 2024 Wow. What a fantastic list for next year. Not so sure about No.50 though but there you go. Can't have everything I suppose.
Sean 6,566 Posted December 30, 2024 I think we have to give the committee praise for continuing to run this game year on year.It is a staple of mine and I'm sure everyone on here's new years eve rituals.I find it almost comforting that whatever year I have had I can always count down the New Year then check the newest deathlist. 24
Sean 6,566 Posted December 30, 2024 I'm working nightshift this New Years Eve but as soon as I get a chance I will check in and give my 2 cents. It will give me something to look forward to on a most likely long shift.

As with last time, I will count down the seconds with Jools before joining in a song of Aud Lang Sye then going on the website and seeing the brand new list

Joey Russ 7,322 Posted December 31, 2024 Honestly it’s more impressive that the committee is nearly 60 and they are still continuing on with the list

I hope they have recruited some younger members so that it will continue once their time has come. 4

I'd tune in, but only if the doc includes a full section on the forum and history of all of the pools within

Sad that Vice News has gone to shit. They could've done a mini-documentary and interviewed members of the cmme with their faces blurred and voices pitched down.

Sounds like no. 50 could be Keith Richards or Mick Jagger. Can't always get what you want! Pretty certain the following newbies will appear, knowing the committee's style: - Eva Marie Saint - Geoffrey Boycott - John Williams - Rupert Murdoch - William Shatner - King Charles III

sunkyank 4 Posted December 31, 2024 Paul Newman's widow is a goner in 2025, she should be #1, followed by Dick van Dyke. Someone in here stated that we should be imaginative so I propose Gordon Brown as #50.

arghton 7,057 Posted December 31, 2024 Where are Zou Yu, Sri Sri Sri 1008 Basudevacharya Swamiji Maharaj, Pope Fritzl and MC Ren 2? Absolutely outrageous and a year of many misses Edit: My trusty sources have informed me that Jimmy Carter suffers from dementia. Very bad decision to drop him now.
polar duck 956 Posted December 31, 2024 At first glance, this list somehow seems worse than last year's. Glad Tippi Hedren made it, at least.
