Citizens Theatre to Hammer Horror to acclaimed drama. Bloody love Blood on Satan's Claw. Probably helped by first seeing it at the age of 19 and that scene with Linda Hayden. But there's other fun gruesomeness as well. Strangely, there's little info on the 'net about this, but it also starred other familiar faces, Glyn Houston, Richard Wilson et al.

The Queen, less so, but she's great as the Queen Mum in it. (Willz or Biblio should mention Ghost Light any moment now too.) There are some amazing punctuations in Sylvia Syms career - Ice Cold In Alex, The Punch And Judy Man, Espresso Bongo. How she ever played Maggie Thatcher AND the Queen Mother, I'll never know. Still a Peter Bowles associated death (the 2022 hangover continues), co-starring in Together from 2018. LEGEND! RIP.
