Bet you were grinning like a Cheshire cat when they started face palming your posts. Probably checked too beforehand. Personally I think the two of you should meet up for coffee some time. Cut to The chase ya know. 2
Ulitzer95 12,690 Posted May 10 @Paul Bearer, one thing I've never understood about this forum is on everyone's user page it says "community reputation: excellent". That's even the case with mymango, despite his charge sheet being as follows: REACTIONS RECEIVED 64 6 28 12 34 1 4 192 What the hell does someone need to do to get a different rating for community rep on here? 8 2

When you receive 10 like/haha/thanks your reputation becomes 'good'. It becomes 'excellent' at 20. It has nothing to do with negative reactions. Could do with some adjusting. 2

I don't understand the reputation system on here at all. From what I can tell thanks, like and haha are the only ones that hold value, everything else does nothing to the reputation score. Then there's the leaderboard tab that only shows posts from previous days that have received reactions and not the most liked posts of the day as you might expect. An easy way would just be reputation points as a % of your posts, e.g. ≥100% = 'Excellent' 75-100% = 'Good' *checks mymango stats* ≤44.75% = 'Shit'
YoungWillz 21,081 Posted May 10 Well, I'd rather not be posting here about this. A facepalm or angry reaction for example could be a reaction to the message contained within the post, rather than a reaction to the user and the fact that something has been posted. Now I'm not saying that certain users may use the reactions in that way. I rarely use those anyway, but I believe that is the way they should be used and perhaps not taken personally.

InquilineKea 75 Posted May 11 Major Jimmy Carter health update Quote Stuckey said Carter’s children are often with him and he likes to watch the Andy Griffith Show, a 1960s sitcom about a likable, fair sheriff who kept order in the small town of Mayberry. That TV show has become synonymous with nostalgia for a more innocent time – just as Carter has. He was a former Naval officer who served in World War Two. He appeared like a meteor on the national scene, a fresh face projecting hope and promising a better direction for the country. He looked younger than his 52 years. also he voted

I also fail to see how this is a major update. This is the same grandson who was telling us he was "nearing the end" back in September.
