Gwynhafyr 0 Posted December 10, 2006 So he really wasn't faking it and has finally died, good. Another DDP name to cross off though, oh well. You beat me to it. How many more do we need to beat the record?
football_fan 42 Posted December 10, 2006 So he really wasn't faking it and has finally died, good. Another DDP name to cross off though, oh well. You beat me to it. How many more do we need to beat the record? The record is 14 hits in 2003, so we would need another 4 hits to beat it.
Guest smithy Posted December 10, 2006 I think we should not include Pinochet on the 2007 list since he is so unreliable. We should not dignify this evil old man by even mentioning him from now on.Anyone agree? well I kinda stick to this statement by continuing to state we shouldnt have him on the 2007 list... Starch 1 Posted December 10, 2006 Nice to see another name off the list. Hits in December are always exciting, especially when they're big names.
Guest Guest_deathcorner_* Posted December 10, 2006 It's great to get another success.... a couple of months ago things weren't looking so good. I think that we might at least equal last years haul, but I can't see any more than that.... but hey who knows?
Banshees Scream 110 Posted December 10, 2006 Back Down! My prediction only took less then 24 hours. Number 11 hits the charts.
Octopus of Odstock 2,186 Posted December 10, 2006 When I said a few posts back that I thought Pinochet was a worse faker than Jane Tomlinson & would see 2008 was obviously the kiss of death.... Well done, DL, but I am certain I've lost my coveted top 10 place in the DDP now. If I haven't, it will be a miracle.

Guest Pinoisdead CastroNiemeyertofollo Posted December 10, 2006 Anagram specialists and conspiracy Pino died today. What a pity!!! He set the standards for today´s Chile . Chile is ahead in south America ,due to his Foreign Investment regulation act of 1974. Today only 9 % of the Chilean economy is state run.Under Allende most of it was. In Chile even pension funds are private.Corruption rate is the lowest in Latin America. Investment Risk rate for Chile is 60 points(=The lowest in the region). Education sets the best stands in Latin America (=Children at school full time for both elementary and high school, No public Universities aimed at focusing on what really matters Basic education). Thank you Augusto Pinochet(1915-2006)
Banshees Scream 110 Posted December 10, 2006 Old dictating basterd. This pins number 11 for the year. Now only if we could tie last years total.
Phantom 2,531 Posted December 10, 2006 According to the news crawler on BBC, Maggie Thatcher is quoted as being "greatly saddened" by the death of Pinochet. I guess Thatcher looked to Pinochet as a mentor
Banshees Scream 110 Posted December 10, 2006 Wait isn't that Milk Snatching woman with the ugly political dyke woman looking haircut on the list? Maybe she'll have a heart attack at his funeral. Quote me if that would interest you.

Windsor 2,233 Posted December 10, 2006 General Augusto Pinochet is the 11th success of 2006. He is the 148th success since 1987. The 2006 list is now in 4th place out of a possible 20 lists. I take it he wasn't faking then. I hope he was on my HDP...
IKYWN 6 Posted December 10, 2006 Bastard! I was just about to put him on my DDP list for 2007. He could have at least hung on until Jan 1st. I hope he gets put on the same cloud as all the political opponents he did away with
Black Scythe 0 Posted December 10, 2006 He probably had a better death than those opponents who were thrown out of helicopters, or was that the Argentinian Junta? Its hard to keep track of all these guys.
Magere Hein 1,400 Posted December 10, 2006 Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice! The bastard is dead! I congratulate the Chilean nation. Party time! And he's given us our 11th hit. And my 7th DDP hit (and second in a week). I'll drink to his demise! Unfortunately I left him off my HDP team. And he died while I was watching the footy on the box. Anyway, time. regards, Hein
Rotten Ali 600 Posted December 10, 2006 1. Before New Year ( I have a feeling that in his present condition, he will not last a month ) 2. Pinochet I agree. Ditto Ditto I really want to post "going, going" sort of thing but he looks like he may be improving. I yet out a yelp of delight tonight on hearing the news on my car radio. That's a point scoring hit for me in 4 pools. I think 3rd in the DDP. Happy - Happy - Happy!
Canadian Paul 97 Posted December 10, 2006 Ha! Never fails! Whenever I get on an airplane, someone on the DL dies, good job that it was someone to break up the moral tension recently on DL. Interestingly enough, he died on the same day as our last December DL hit - Richard Pryor. I continue to stick by my prediction that DL will have one more hit before the year is out. Well done! Lothar_The_Lurker 1 Posted December 10, 2006 HE'S DEAD!!! Hmm... it seems that this year has been highlighted by a lot of the politicians. I'm guessing the last person to die in this year is going to be another politician. It's always good when someone like Pinochet or Botha die because they're considered to be evil. Let's hope the last person to die will be more evil than both of these men combined.

Canadian Paul , you've probably had so many hits that you forget your first. But Pinochet is my very first. I'm deflowered at last. I was one of the 760(!) people at the Rotten Deadpool who picked him. Ummm...on your return flight could you, like, think really hard about Abdel Rachman the blind sheik? Thanking you in advance....
