Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

Recommended Posts

He’s been mentioned in other threads, but Leslie Schofield, who played Jeff Healy in EE from 1997-2000, and appeared earlier in it as one of Pat’s numerous husbands, as well as Star Wars and seemed to appear in almost every other show from the late 60s onwards, might be worth keeping an eye on. Turns 80 in December but doesn’t appear to have done anything acting-wise since 2006, assuming he’s retired unless anyone knows otherwise?

I still see Derek Martin regularly as he shop's at the supermarket by our workplace. He's doing alright, looks the same and drives and walks fine by himself. He's retired from acting.

Saw the Delster today. Was wearing shorts, flip flops and looks a good 10 years younger than he is. He's not going anywhere just yet.

Jeff Cooper, who played Dr. Simon Elby, Sue Ellen's psychiatrist in 19 episodes of 'Dallas' from 1979 to 1981, passed away March 24th, though his death has mostly gone unnoticed.  Born George Cooper, his career began in the early 1960s and his last acting credit was in 1986.  Here is a July 16th obit.

Other credits include Z Cars and Within These Walls.

Thought she died in 1983. She was great in The Addams Family. On a serious note, no obit will come out again.

Just to clarify for anyone taking this seriously, different people.

Me old dead mum used to watch Crossroads religiously in the 1970s, so this is a heartbreaker.

Yes a sad loss- she was fab as evil Ursula Titchener in The Archers last heard in January.

Crossroads cast (64-88 version) is slowly declining.

Crossroads fans on twitter claiming Janet Hargreaves has died aged (c) 81. Also a regular in Compact, plus roles in Poirot, The Avengers and, err, Dr Who.

The Greatest Show In The Galaxy is one of McCoy's finest moments in Doctor Who.

Good cast, strong story.

Katie Jarvis who plays Hayley Slater in Eastenders is one to keep an eye on.Only 27 but looks like she is on drugs and has a voice like a 60 year old chainsmoker.

I’d keep an eye on Roxanne Pallett. Clearly not stable as events on Celebrity Big Brother have showed.

Whatever your our views are on events, she’s very much a narcissistic and a liar with clear ‘form’. Heck when your old Emmerdale cast members brand you evil then something’s badly wrong.
