Just about every witness who testified against Jacko was tainted one way or another (e.g. had previously sued him, testimony was contradicted, etc.). The DA, who will go down with Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden in the annals of all-time crap California public prosecutors, was carrying a 13 year old grudge against Jackson and it showed in the case he brought - he tried for too many charges, including a ludicruos kidnapping claim, and didn't focus enough on the central issue of abuse. Plus the boy's family have a history of filing bogus lawsuits. I saw the Martin Bashir interview and came away from with the impression that Jackson's a nutcase, but not a child molester. honez 79 Posted June 14, 2005 MJ was not proven innocent! The jury found that there was not sufficient evidence to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he was guilty. They delivered the only other verdict they were allowed--not guilty. Not being able to prove his guilt one hundred percent is a far, far cry from being innocent. What MJ's supporters will gladly gloss over, is the fact that this was deliberated before this went to trial. It was considered at the time that there was sufficient evidence against him to go to trial. Again, if he was truly innocent, it would never have gone to trial in the first place. In an interview on US television, Jermaine Jackson told of how his brother was recovering, and that it was time to "rejoice for the family". When asked about about his brother's eating habits, he said Michael "was eating sandwiches and things like that but it was just very tough". Jermaine admitted that the family was worried about Michael's safety, and said that he would not be surprised if his brother left the country. He said: "We've always had a love for other places outside the US. "I would be right with him." "Now that Michael's been vindicated, we all have to be careful... you never know what someone's plotting and planning." Jermaine said he did not know if Michael would be doing any interviews, saying: "I'm pretty sure he's just looking to rest.
