FFS Ellie Simmonds is a MIDGET

MIDGES are wee cunty flies that bit you. And they don't get everywhere, central London is fairly safe from them

Ellie would love 'Skin So Soft' wot with all that swimming the wee cunty flying beasties; not so much in fact not at all and I didn't get a single bite in my two weeks in Argyll & Bute. That's a cocktail too isn't it?

Dunno if its the Northern Lights influence, but the last weeks sunrise and sunsets have been astounding, making a mockery of the old 'red skies at night' or 'red skies in morning' shite.

Will post some pics in the morning, but it is the most 'red' I have ever seen in the sky.

****not old enough or Japanese enough to say otherwise....

Despite protests (Dad, are you sure i'm a penguin?) I still don't deem it cold enough for the central heating to be turned on. Anyone succumbed yet?

1) That's a very accurate reading (but I'm not surprised!).

2) Are you under one Leicester's famous thermal vents? It's no more than 15 C here.

It's an urban new build so that helps. It had dropped overnight to just over 19 by the time I got up this morning and has steadily risen throughout the day. I can't complain. :D

^^ he's usually over some of leceisters famous ven.....ah, too easy.

Had the fire on since @8am, ie when the wine box got cracked. Lovely day, sunny, but a real fire is 'correct'.

I won't have it on more when the snow hits. No need.

I must admit to having had mine on, in my defence it's got down to 7C at night here recently.

Lounge temperature dropped to 21 C but then I cooked dinner and it's now at 21.9 C so the heating isn't going on.

Not surprised as winds come down from Scandinavia. Will turn round from Monday though and will get warmer.
