PMQs started with Speaker Hoyle reinforcing that no members should accuse others of lying or wilfully misleading parliament.

He also said that the rule could be changed, or wtte.  They need to get on with that.

Gary Streeter and Anthony Mangnall have both sent letters in this afternoon. That makes 7 if I count correctly (Gale,Ross,Bridgen,Aldous,Ellwood,Mangnall,Streeter) that is of course not including Charles Walker ,William Wragg, Tim Loughton,David Davis and Andrew Mitchell who have declared no confidence also but not confirmed they sent a letter. Davis said he hadn`t the other day not sure about the others.

That spin is less believable than "I didn`t realise I was at a party for 25 minutes" , "There were no parties and "The Prime Minister tells the truth".If you sack them you take control of the agenda .

Labour and the Lib Dems gave Southend West a swerve. If the results show the independent or UKIP surging close to the Tories, that'll be a reckoning moment for Bojo too. Even the Monster Raving Loony Party backed out of this one!

Nobody posted the latest Jonathan Pie yet?  Utter brilliance, and it's for the New York Times, no less.

Shame it's all true.

I can`t help but think he modelled that rant on Glenda Jackson`s speech after Thatcher died. The use of spoken language, body language and intonation to maximum  effect.

Probably one to watch is Nadine Dorres. That was totally bizarre on BBC Breakfast this morning and she’s appearing more and more unstable with each day.
