VSBfromH 74 Posted January 26, 2011 Actor Paul Picerni has died aged 88. I have to confess I've never heard of him, but he had a number of notable supporting roles which included Agent Lee Hobson in 83 episodes of "The Untouchables" and the Vincent Price film "House of Wax". ... closely followed by Bruce Gordon who appeared as mobster Frank Nitti in 27 episodes of "The Untouchables". He has died 12 days before his 95th birthday.

VSBfromH 74 Posted January 31, 2011 John Barry has just died of a heart attack - sad one This is one of the few links which confirm the news, though Wikipedia already has him as dead. An amazing catalogue of wonderful tunes: all those Bond themes, "The Magnificent Seven", "The Beyondness of Things", "Theme From 'The Persuaders'", "Midnight Cowboy" to name but a few. time 8,578 Posted February 2, 2011 Actress Margaret John has died aged 84. She played the neighbour Doris in the most overrated comedy of recent times, 'Gavin and Stacey'. Also she was one of only 3 actors to appear in the old and new series of Doctor Who Elisabeth Sladen, Bella Emberg and Zoe Wanamaker being the other two? IMDB claims 23 have appeared in both versions, though I'm not checking that fact.
