maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted December 27, 2016 Keeping my fingers crossed for you Glen, 2016 isn't over until it's over. Wait, are you wanting him to live or die. Cause if it's the latter, I'm pretty sure many of us are hoping he makes 2017... Ah I see that could be construed both ways. I don't want anyone to die. Hoping he lives, just for clarification... is it just me or is there ironic humour in wishing a dementia case well "for clarification"?

Sean 6,327 Posted February 4, 2017 I know what you mean. When my Grandmother was in the final stage of Alzheimer`s and bedridden the medical professionals kept insisting when she had infections that she was rushed to AaE even when moving her made her scream and cry uncontrollably. They wanted to save her life but as a family we kept trying to scream at them for what purpose do we keep her alive when everything that made her who she was had been taken by the disease. In the end they gave us our way and let her die in peace whilst sedated but we had to fight for them to give in. That is why I think the census should include people expressing advance directives to write down what people want whilst they are still of sound mind. maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted April 15, 2017 The 12-track album will include songs from Campbell's longtime collaborator Jimmy Webb and a new version of his famous song "Postcard From Paris" with Campbell's children Cal, Shannon and Ashley singing the line, "I wish you were here." So, there's one song that'll chart, then. Up there with Dhani Harrison duetting with his recently deceased dad on the closer and title track of the posthumous Brainwashed album

If so he's not the only person to complete an album he doesn't recall recording. During a late 1990s interview David Bowie was asked a question about the live Tin Machine album. The answer he gave made it clear he didn't know it had been released and hadn't a clue which gig(s) had been recorded. His excuse wasn't dementia it was a shitload of coke.

Zsa Zsa's leg 884 Posted May 24, 2017 http://radaronline.com/videos/glen-campbell-alzheimer-disease/ Radar says his family dragged him out of care and into a studio to record 'Adios' Considering how I don't think he can even speak, this seem unlikely.
