The Dead Of 2013

The last survivor of the Fuhrerbunker in Berlin has died.

I know there's a Nazi thread but thought this was big enough to go in here.

Jawohl! 6th hit for my DDP main team.

Oh, here's the news from ABC. I don't doubt that DDP approved sources will carry the news soon.

regards,

Hein

Mick Jagger sang Start Me Up at the beginning of the 1936 Olympiad and sat in Hitler's royal box as a guest.

There's someone that took his time - I have to admit, I can't help but suspect Misch never really was terminally ill considering he lasted another two years, but just old and tired of getting attention for knowing that guy with a funny mustache.

No. Max was born in 1940. I'm fairly sure that young Max was never taken behind the lines to meet Hitler. And at most being only 5 years old, he could hardly claim to "have known him personally".

Anyway, let's have a requiem for the last surviving body in the Bunker:

I remember her from 'Take the High Road', which was always on when I came back from school. Sad news...

Along with Briony McRoberts, a third actor from 'Take the High Road' has bitten the dust in 2013, Robert Trotter.

The children of the leading Nazis would've met him, indeed Hitler was godfather to some.

Edda Goring (b.1938), Albert Speer (b.1934) and Gudrun Himmler (b.1929) would remember him and are all alive.

Robert Robson, artistic director of The Lowry arts centre in Salford, has died at the age of 58.

Shame.. I quite liked his 1990s chart-topping, cover-version duets with Jerome. :ninja:

I fuckin' hated Ask the Family: good riddance!

Always assumed that Pauline Quirke would be the first of the Birds of a Feather cast to die. RIP.
