Calling bullshit on this one. It's been a week, and although the Viscount Falmouth and his family are very private, there would be a death notice in a broadsheet now for any Earl or Viscount.

Problem on Wikipedia was 2 experienced users continued to edit his page and created a new page for the presumed 10th Viscount, after an anonymous IP edited his page to say he had died. They did this without confirmation of his death, which is somewhat embarrassing. Given that these users frequently edited aristocrat type pages, it seemed safe to assume they were in the know. Both users now admit they just believed the initial edit from the anonymous IP. :rolleyes:

I will scrub the initial post later once this has been read.

Pneumonia and UTI. Suprised he even survived that at 101 or 102.

With a quick search seems like he's been having health issues for a while:

December 2014: Hospitalised with pneumonia, pleural effusion, UTI and gastritis at 95. Reportedly bedridden.

February 2016: "Cough, cold, high BP"

June 2021: Hospitalised with pneumonia and heart issues, wearing nasal cannula in pictures.

February 2022: Hospitalised with pneumonia and UTI.

He wasn't in a wheelchair a year ago.

Apparently Satya Mohan Joshi was working from hospital, soon to release his autobiography.

Impressive guy, said last year that when he dies his body will be donated to longevity research. This far he's always perfectly recovered from whatever he's had though.

Seems like he participated in a talk show around three days ago (9th of March) and there are a lot of recent pictures of him on facebook as he and his wife apparently celebrated their 83rd (!!) wedding anniversary a week ago:

Doesn't need a nasal cannula anymore and can now talk clearly and walk again. A very tough guy.

Clearly. That’s amazing. She could go anytime of course but I must say she could pass for 20 years less !

still playing scrabble (I think this is a scrabble) so I would say she’s still sound of mind in addition of looking great

Quiros is not even in a wheelchair in those pictures and can look at the camera. Seems to be in good health.

I thought she had Alzheimer's based on the picture from February 2021 where she was holding a therapy doll, usually used in dementia care, I might've been wrong. Or atleast it isn't advanced.

Actually she seems to be in a wheelchair in the first 2 photos… look carefully behind her, there’s handles on the chair

Scottish singer Mary Lee (Mary Ann McDevitt) is celebrating her 100th today. Last surviving British dance band singer who was active in the 1930s and the widow of comedian Jack Milroy. Never mentioned on this forum before, I think.

Mary Lee Milroy, dead at 100.
