However to be balanced I do think we should also make notable mention of Covington Cross a disastorous attempt to make a Medieval soap. It was made for the US market but had a couple of British thesps in the senior roles.Nigel Terry valiently tried to bring some dignity to the proceedings but the script was a steaming pile of crap. I think it got cancelled halfway through the first series. Actors will do almost anything for money but those who are wedded to the stage often see this type of thing as funding what they really want to do. Fiona Shaw, Kate O'Mara and Ian McShane have all been pretty brazen about appearing in some really bad US TV shows or movies. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
