Loved him in WKRP and Head of the Class. Sad loss indeed.

For the final season of Head of the Class, he was replaced by Billy Connolly in what would be his first major American production.

Hesseman was also a semi-regular on the final season of the long-running sitcom One Day at a Time.  He was included in the opening credits in the episodes in which he appeared.

He also appeared in a number of episodes of The Bob Newhart Show as one of Bob's many patients.

Not sure if this is the right area to put this under. I just saw Shirley Jones passed at 87. She was star of The Partridge Family and multiple musicals (Oklahoma, Carousel and the Music Man.

This thread is fine. Could've also gone in the Hollywood or Broadway threads given her diversity.

Where are you seeing this though? There's nothing on Google, Facebook or Twitter?

Think I read somewhere that Danny Bonaduce's real life mother passed recently.

Sorry for the delay but i am in a different time zone. This was not the source of my confusion. I found a link showing jones had passed that may not be reliable. In any case i will attach it anyway. https://www.wikiobits.com/Obits/Shirley_Jones

The link shows she is alive...

Oh no!

I knew Tim very well through his motor racing writing, we corresponded for many years. It doesn't say anything in the above but he wrote many motor racing books and very well too. RIP.

A Disney legend also appearing in the original The Shaggy Dog. A sad loss.

Conrad Janis (born 1928) and Bernard Fox (born 1927) are other possibilities. I think Janis still works but I haven't seen Fox do anything in a long time. Although known primarily for Buck Rogers, Tim O'Connor (born 1927) was in a couple of episodes of M*A*S*H and may be worth keeping an eye on.

Of the regular M*A*S*H cast, William Christopher, Jamie Farr and Wayne Rogers are all over 80 though health wise I only know that Farr has diabetes.

Conrad Janis, who played Mindy's father on Mork & Mindy, obit: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/08/arts/television/conrad-janis-dead.html

Should be a pick on the DDP, he has been before.
