Was going to say she was one of the greats for kids of the 80s/90s but apparently Worst Witch came out in 1974! I didn't realise it was as old as that. They should have been the sort of thing I liked, but I didn't really understand them and probably read them too young. I do remember being freaked out by "The Owl Service".
