YoungWillz 21,050 Posted June 24, 2016 Hilary Benn almost had a fit when Dimbleby suggested a General Election. You could see the "We're still listening, we've no policies yet, ah blast it's Scotland all over again" look in his eyes. Rees-Mogg along with most other Tories have poo-pooed an Austerity Budget, so that's Osborne in the bin (please god, not Theresa May either). It's still looking close but I always expected a Leave vote across the UK. Well, we've got the freedom to do what we want if that happens. What'll we do? CaptainChorizo 1,983 Posted June 24, 2016 If Britian leaves EU does that mean leaving UEFA as well? Concacaf Gold Cup would greatly improve with the inclusion of Wales and Northern Ireland
Phantom 2,533 Posted June 24, 2016 I voted remain by postal voteEx Pats shouldn't even have a vote.I'm still a citizen Yeah, you care so much about the UK that you live in the USA. And you care so much that you choose to have a photo of Trump on your profile
En Passant 3,741 Posted June 24, 2016 If Britian leaves EU does that mean leaving UEFA as well? Concacaf Gold Cup would greatly improve with the inclusion of Wales and Northern Ireland Don't you start. Makes it look like the turnout would have been 100% if the options had been stay or leave UEFA.
YoungWillz 21,050 Posted June 24, 2016 BBC have called it - we are out. Think Birmingham was a knife-edge and that's done for Remain. How do our consensual remain politicians implement a decision the vast majority don't agree with? That'll be fun.
RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted June 24, 2016 I remember Cameron coming out to Downing Street the morning after the Scottish Referendum and thinking 'You jammy bastard'. Not so jammy this time...

RadGuy 1,614 Posted June 24, 2016 Found this quote in an NPR article about British expats in Spain and how they're voting: "Like many Britons abroad, Foulcer cast a postal ballot in advance, in favor of remaining in the E.U. He admits he'd vote differently if he still lived in England. He thinks there are too many immigrants there." Yeah, those darn immigrants sure are assholes. I wonder if the Spanish feel the same about foreigners in their country.

RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted June 24, 2016 Me too. I thought in the end common sense would prevail narrowly. Instead we narrowly chose chaos instead.

Deathray 2,940 Posted June 24, 2016 Never been so disappointment, angry and worried about a political result before. Just other half the country are idiots who'd vote for a recession in order to stop immigrants taking their jobs.

Deathray 2,940 Posted June 24, 2016 This has to be the biggest 24 hours in UK politics for a decade at least. I'm not celebrating until I know who's replacing him.
