Tarot reader hired by Fox News to predict Trump's year pulls the "death card" on live television.

That's not the Death card. It's the Five of Cups, which represents dwelling on past failures and disappointments.

Hmm. Does it, though?

Well, it prompts one to consider whether it would be better to stop looking back with regret, and look to the future with a positive attitude.

The way his name is being bandied about at the moment, he probably shouldn't do too much of this.

Supreme Court to rule if Trump can run for President.

The hilarity of it is that Trump Republicans think ‘the left’ are scared he is going to win; the reality is the average American is scared he will win and never leave.

Is this why he is leading in almost every poll I see conducted with average Americans?

Also, why is there still a GOP primary at this point? We all know who is going to be the nominee. I know again they are not always reliable but have polls ever been off by 30 points? And also there are like a couple more debates left? what is the point of all that? such a waste of money and television time. None of these bozos is going to win and they all know that. Funny how what was touted as an exciting and competitive primary is now basically a Trump coronation ceremony.

Trump might still manage to gaffe his way to defeat if we are lucky. Trump reportedly told Iowans today to move on to get past the school shooting that took place in Iowa yesterday. One has to wonder about the mental ability of people hearing comments like that and still supporting him as the presidential candidate.

Calm down dear. I agree that the Republican primaries are a waste of time because the party has been hijacked by the hard right and weak white men who can’t cope with fair competition from women and blacks.

As for the national polls, they are not as rosy as you are suggesting for Trump.

Biden only won last time round because Trump is so unpalatable. The percentage Trump doesn’t get in the Republican primaries are not likely to vote for him which will always be his failure.

I think he will get onto the ballot (the current makeup of the Supreme Court virtually guarantees it) and will lose the election, but by a smaller margin than in 2020, and the voter turnout will also be lower. Neither Biden nor Trump exactly inspires confidence and hope for the future as things stand. Biden's second term will just be him keeping the Oval Office warm while the Democrats pour through their next generation of potential candidates for 2028.

Both Biden and Trump are mentally declining. There will be moments of obvious mental decline from both of them this year.

Surely, out of the millions of Americans, there must be two candidates who are more suitable than Biden and Trump. America needs someone physically and mentally capable for the role, with energy to inspire change over the next 4 years. Neither of these two are that person.

Only the first part of my post was directly addressing your comment. Sorry if I did not make it clearer.

Well yeah, maybe. But in 2024, specifically, they are a waste of time because Trump, and not any other weak white man, is going to be the nominee no matter what. That was my point.

Trump outperforms polls by usually 5+ points. Trump won in 2016 without leading in a single poll. Trump nearly won in 2020 without leading in a single poll (and was behind by double what he was in 2016). He was predicted to lose by 10 points and ended by losing by only 4. In fact, people forget that he was only 40 000 votes away from reelection.

Today, with all of the negative press and legal issues Trump is getting, there is no conceivable and realistic way he should be polling higher than Biden. Yet, he is. Go back and compare the polling (approval, favorability, direction of the country, and the issues) going into the 2020 election versus the polling today. Biden is underperforming while Trump is overperforming. It should be the other way around if what you say is true.

The fact he's leading in almost EVERY poll in swing states and POPULAR vote polls in general should have Democrats shaken to the core, as that's the signification of a Trump blowout. Heck, he's winning with YOUNG voters now, can you believe that?! I don't like him that much either but at this point, most people are just mentally preparing for a 2nd Trump term. There's a reason prominent Democrats are asking Biden to step down after a couple of months of "don't trust the polls, bro". The average American vote is what decided the 2020 election, and those voters are favoring Trump by margins that seem straight out of a Republican circlejerk.

FTFY.

From his Wikipedia entry

"On February 17, 2015, Afroman was midway through his performance at a live music venue in Biloxi, Mississippi, when a woman walked on stage. While dancing and holding a drink, she approached Afroman from behind. Afroman punched her in the face and was eventually escorted offstage by security. He was taken into custody, charged with assault, and released on bond shortly thereafter.

There were reportedly 12 to 15 security guards on duty to manage a crowd in excess of 500 people. According to Afroman's representative, he had punched the woman as an involuntary reaction to the invasion of his personal space. Afroman also stated that he mistook her for another audience member who had been heckling him throughout the performance. He publicly apologized and sought assistance with anger management."

Typical politician!!

A lot of people are in denial that Trump is very likely coming back and will likely make his first presidency look like a moderate in terms of what he is apparently planning to do.

Well said! But the big question is who would replace them? Donald Trump Jr and Hunter Biden?

There a massive opportunity for a capable independent candidate to break the corrupt electoral system (especially ballot access) that discriminates against third parties.

That’s a very reasonable response. Every US election has its attention-seeking “independent” candidates, e.g. failed politicians, fading porn stars and YouTube scammers and fraudsters.
