Deathray 2,940 Posted October 18, 2016 rockhopper, Barry Hines already died, so not much worth thinking about. But Ken Loach directed the highly acclaimed/grubby poverty porn (delete as applicable) film version. Miserable bastard.
charon 4,943 Posted October 19, 2016 Founder of 3DBuzzInc , Jason Busby , is going down the 'you giving ' route. As many people are aware, Jason Busby was recently diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer, stage 4. To date, it has spread from his esophagus to his stomach, liver, and throat. I'm seeking donations to help defray medical expenses for the Busby family. Any 3D designer, digital film maker etc will have used his training modules, so outside chance of a decent obit. Y'know, people always say the rising sea levels are the biggest concerns regarding Nauru's future, but this is one of the few state of heads in the world capable of actually eating the nation he's governing.
charon 4,943 Posted October 22, 2016 Not one for next year but defo obitable... Robbie Shepherd turned 80 this week , and looks kinda frail. He might always have looked that way though, but has missed a few shows of late. For those outside of Scotchland / or fit enough to turn the dial after the fitba , he has presented a Scottish dance band radio programme since afore I leaked out of my father. He's on the long list for 3 monthly Google checks for me now. I take it back. He is one for next year. Retired a couple of months back, and his 20 something young shaver of a replacement said there (I couldn't be arsed changing the dial after the fitba lol), that he had a fall last week and an operation on his hip. They generally don't end well. Apart for Murray Walker. Into 2017 squad for me.

A 2017 replacement for the Thai king perhaps? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Halim_of_Kedah He won't be King of Malaysia after December 12 anyway, they have some kind of a system where they have regional kings who take 5 year turns being the King of Malaysia. Sean 6,311 Posted October 25, 2016 Leah Bracknell (b. 1964), who appeared for sixteen years in Emmerdale as Zoe, alleged to have inoperable Stage 4 lung cancer, via a Gofundme page asking for money for experimental treatment in Germany. If legit: I don't watch soaps, but I ran her name past my wife, who said "Oh, her!" in a sad voice, which is my fail-proof test for someone being a household name or not. EDIT: Genuinely, about 30 seconds after I posted, the Mail have it as breaking news. The Sun and Mirror are reporting she has been told by the clinic that she will need several sessions meaning she needs to raise a lot more than the 60k she has on her go fund me page!
