arghton 6,697 Posted August 13, 2020 Apparently former Finnish prime minister and counselor of state Paavo Lipponen (born 1941, served as PM from 1995 to 2003) has had heart problems for multiple years, had a heart attack in 2017 and had to be operated 7 times and according to his wife, is now in such a frail condition that she can't visit him. I'm almost sure Lipponen won't see his 80th birthday.

DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted August 24, 2020 Irish nationalist politician and TD, Peadar Tóibín, leader of the Aontú Party (a group of disaffected ex-Sinn Fein members), is suffering from skin cancer.
