Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,218 Posted July 3, 2016 Nobody is having a go at anybody, I appreciate that not every mod knows everything about the running of a site. Maybe it would be an idea to ask around and find somebody that does know how to do the more intricate stuff on here. Obviously, somebody trustworthy and all of that.

YoungWillz 21,007 Posted November 2, 2016 So PMQs ends. Interesting questions on benefits, etc etc. BBC News then switch to Vicky Young, Chief Political Correspondent, who wonders whether the most significant question was the one about whether football players should wear poppies. Get a f ucking grip!

Get a f ucking grip! It's the hot button issue, not to mention she publicly slammed one of the biggest organisations in the world, which might do a bit of damage to our economy in the future when they refuse to give us the world cup again. Two things...FIFA say it's a political symbol. May has just confirmed that it is political, the idiot. Also, the BBC making this it's headline is simply a travesty...no wonder the silly little public swallow the garbage from politicians if this is made the issue of the day. Grim Up North 3,725 Posted November 2, 2016 Of course FIFA are correct in this instance - the poppy is a symbol to remember the war dead of our country and certain other countries but is considered controversial in Ireland at least. Our war dead were busy trying to kill people from other countries. FIFA can't really be expected to find an exact line in the sand between what is and is not political so they are right to ban all and I think it is totally unnecessary for FA and British Govt to raise this as an issue. Why can't the silly footballers just play their stupid game without poppies and then put their poppies back on afterwards - it is just pathetic this obsession with wearing a poppy at all times around November 11th.
YoungWillz 21,007 Posted January 6, 2017 Just been watching Newswatch on the BBC. Quite a few sensitive souls getting incredibly worked up that the BBC dared to cover the flurry of deaths towards the end of 2016. Probably the same folk who would be asking "Why wasn't I informed?" or "Why wasn't there more coverage?" when one of their beloved celebrities dies. What do you want? "And today, Joanna Lumley died". Switch to picture with years of birth and death. "Goodnight."
Deathray 2,940 Posted January 6, 2017 There needs to be a balance though. Every time a few major deaths happen the news channels review programme gets complaints it didn't give enough/gave too much time to it, this has been going on since MJ died if not before.
the_engineer 1,415 Posted January 7, 2017 For a moment I almost thought that Z had posted up his views on BBC Porn, daft really coz he will only tolerate white knobs. BBC Porn ? That is something so disturbing I can't even comprehend. I should imagine their idea of dirty talk and foreplay starts with ' the BBC understands.....' And ends with 'insufficient to meet current demands'.

Heef 166 Posted January 9, 2017 How can people seriously complain about the BBC? Living in other countries where journalism is of a diabolical quality makes you appreciate the quality of the BBC that much more. In NZ, our mainstream newspaper media is risible, the quality of journalism on the television barely scrapes through as 'Bird found nesting in classroom in Northamptonshire' Roger Finn Newsround standard and the only thing that really passes muster is Radio NZ's cheap rip-off of the BBC Radio 4 programme Today. And then look at the quality of locally produced TV programmes in comparison. The quality in NZ doesn't bare thinking about.
