Sounds like them expecting/hoping he'll be dead by then anyway, so they don't have to actually allow an abdication. I reckon we could get near 20 hits. It would do, if enough contributors followed the DL rule of retaining 25 from the current DL. I did this time, but next time will use 25 from my own list, so there will likely be less overlap. We retained 25 from the 2016 TCD instead - independent route! I thought we were going to have no carryover until I sat down and counted it all on Hogmanay.
