She looks good for 101.

Anyone who isn't a corpse would look good at that age

Time will be up  very soon, losing her sister will eventually be too much sadness and trauma

You mean her sister who died almost five years ago? and whom she notoriously hated for decades?

Oh the sadness and trauma...

I already imagine in the year 2026, Dame Olivia de Havilland will be turning 110 and you will still be putting her on your list :D

I truly believe that she will pass the year, don't you ?

At her age she probably struggles to pass pretty much anything

Why else would she be on the list?

With Olivia de Havilland, Kirk Douglas and Doris Day you have the old vanguard of a particular Hollywood era. Are there any others who should be considered who are still going?.

Her first Oscar win came in 1946 for To Each His Own but when she goes the next earliest winner is Joanna Woodward in 1957 who I think will probably predecease Olivia.

Here are the 10 earliest living Best Actress Oscar winners.

1946  Olivia de Havilland

1957  Joanna Woodward

1961  Sophia Loren

1964  Julie Andrews

1965  Julie Christie

1968  Barbara Streisand

1969  Maggie Smith

1970  Glenda Jackson

1971 Jane Fonda

1972 Liza Minelli

The lastest year where the recipient is dead is 1989 Jessica Tandy.

Eva Marie Saint? (She won the Supporting Actress Oscar for On the Waterfront despite being leading actress in it.)

She was about 80 when she won her Oscar though, so age at winning is a factor.

Hmm,

Woodward to go first, then Smith, then Minelli, then de Havilland.

I think Angela Lansbury should be considered as well as Jane Powell and Mitzi Gaynor.

Betty White is a big name. She did never won  an Oscar but Kirk Douglas doesnt either.

Two more proposals would be

- Cicely Tyson (1973 Oscar Nomination for "Sounder")

- Carol Channing (1968 Oscar Nomination for "Thoroughly Modern Millie")

She might be old but she's in phenomenal shape. My money's on either Cicely Tyson or Eva Marie Saint being the last survivor of 1924. Carol Channing, however, is a good suggestion.

Of the names mentioed I think Eve Marie Saint has the best credentials. Angela Lansbury did her most important work on stage and then later TV and Betty White is really a TV actress. The other names were names I only really came to through Deadpooling.

Just realised she shares her birthday with Leslie Caron. Happy birthday to two surviving golden girls from the Golden Age of Hollywood!

Is there a poll somewhere on here for centenarians? Between her, Kirk Douglas, Vera Lynn and Herman Wouk the law of averages states that surely at least one won’t see the year out

I bet it is Wouk then. He will be the oldest one to die on the deathlist then

Brooke Astor and Oscar Niemeyer were older. (105 and 104 respectively)
