Death Impends 8,043 Posted July 13, 2019 Never mind not being celebrities, a lot of those names wouldn't have gotten any obit coverage of note had they died at 80 rather than 110+. Some like Sarosy didn't even get much coverage with supercentenarian status. Zhou Youguang I think would have still gotten a good deal of coverage if he died in his 80s due to his development of Pinyin, but he's an exception rather than the rule.
