Death Impends 7,979 Posted January 2, 2017 My guess (as I mentioned in the Christie thread) is the committee just likes boxing a good deal, on top of boxing being a tough sport so a notable boxer making it to 85+ is an extreme rarity even though LaMotta had no major health issues.
