Ideas and Possibilities for 2020

There's a movie called "The Farewell" getting Oscar buzz, it's about a chinese grandma with terminal cancer, but she doesn't know it because her relatives are keeping the truth away from her.

Anyway, it's based on a real story, and the cancer-stricken grandma is still alive, six years after the diagnosis:

I assume the family haven't taken her to see the movie!

Maybe Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 86, Supreme Court Judge in the US. Every Democrat wants her to survive until Trump's term ends and every Republican wants her to die so Trump can make the court majority Conservative.

She's had multiple tumors and other serious health problems, including a current one and she looks pretty frail in the video. Dunno, could be worth a shot...

How about for old times sake Prinz Frederic Van Anholt will be pushing 80 and seems to be getting into more and more scrapes, only last week he had a brick thrown into his car whilst he was in it after going to gym at 4am in the morning had loads of items stolen including his 3 mobiles which included his phone which had all the numbers of his 60 female lovers, he is moaning he won’t be able to have sex now and his women need to contact him so he won’t go without, though with him he talks so much shit.

Also this year he has apparently been attacked and stabbed when out running and had some sort of accident and broken his leg needing surgery. He certainly lives a charmed life will 2020 be the year his luck finally runs out?

I was watching that movie "The Queen" last week and was reminded that "Queen Mum" aka Sylvia Syms OBE is still alive. She was mentioned here many years ago and spoke last year of a couple of health problems. Her public appearances since then have notably declined:

I mentioned her a few weeks back in the Character Actors thread following her extremely brief appearance in Gentleman Jack

She looks pretty good for someone who was given three months to live, nine years ago.

Obviously Alex Trebek should he survive the end of this year. Eva Marie Saint should also be up for consideration as she's 95 now

If we’re going to pick people purely because of their advanced age, picking one of the most sprightly 95 year olds is a bad idea.

“Retirement” clearly bored him as he’s back doing live entertainment. Another one to hold off on for a few years.

Wiki notes they really need a citation for the claim she "lives in Glasgow" - really skimpy article, it's possible she's already dead, surely

Jon Pertwee's first wife is also still alive. She is the actress Jean Marsh & the co-creator of Upstairs, Downstairs. She made her return to the series when it was brought back over 30 years later but due to the success of Downton Abbey it disappeared without trace! Her co-creator Dame Eileen Atkins must also be a similar age.

Both 85, Marsh had a stroke in 2011, Atkins overcame breast cancer in 1995

Obitable for sure but nowt on their current state of health
