Has had dementia for years and periods of falling health alongside it. My source is a family friend.

If you want a 2 for 1 deal on nationalists, Jim Sillars is not a well man these days, though I'm not entirely sure whats up - might be just age related. He's been going downhill since Margo's death.

That’s sad. I like Jim Sillars because he’s never been afraid to speak his mind and break ranks, whereas the rest of his party is a nauseating cult with every one of its elected representatives sharing the same opinion on everything.

Can't help but like a politician who, on asked about some fiery rhetoric from weeks previously on a live interview, went: "Oh, that? I was just shitstirring!" He is his own man though, which is why like the late Jimmy Reid he's struggled to stay in the one party.

If they make the starting gate would like to see a British character actor triumvirate of Geoffrey Palmer, Joss Ackland and Colin Jeavons on next year's list.

Joni James is a good shout and all, being 90, but probably too obscure nowadays to QO...

Norman Tebbit was interviewed this week on my regional ITV news programme.

He looked well, vocally a tad weak but he has all his marbles.

A triple suggestion from me: 1) Ed Ames - played Mingo on the 60’s tv series Daniel Boone. Ames was also a singer. 2) Marion Ross - she played Mrs Cunningham on the tv series Happy Days and 3) Frances Sternhagen - played Cliff’s mother Esther Calvin on the tv series “Cheers”

Between 40 days in a coma, blood clots in the lungs and a loss of sight in one eye, the great man has done well to get this far along. He's apparently writing again.

Yeah, I do too. I think Trump will get reelected; however, on the off chance that Biden becomes #46, I highly doubt that he will make it through his first term. Making him an excellent candidate for the death list of 2021!

If Biden does get in I have no doubt #46 will be instantly replaced by #47 (AKA Kamella Harris).

Tbh I think its completely 50/50. Any prediction is just as accurate as a coin flip at this point.
