Yes.

Feels pretty bad for the royal family to outright lie.

At least he expects to still be around in June.

Little too close to coverage of his mother's jubilee prep for my taste...

However unlikely, King Charles currently trending on twitter with rumours that he's passed away.

Currently no black tie on BBC News.

BBC Twitter icon is black...

This is just satire obviously. Weird time to trend though

Surely the BBC's plan for his coverage would have kicked in by now. Nothing on BBC News here in the US, and nothing I can find on any of the other major outlets, or from reliable sources on social media. Baseless rumour.

Its always nice to see the toxic Diana fans come out to celebrate.

They are still in denial of the fact that it was they more than anyone else who killed her.

Probably the most sensible thing you’ve said in ages.

The other day I was reminded of Wavis O'Shave and his 1979 album Anna Ford's Bum and reflected that it wasn't till many years later that a BBC newsreader's bum was displayed to the public.

Logically... Why would that info go to Russia before the BBC, much less the internet? Makes no sense. This royal announcement that Twitter is all up about could be on literally anything.

Or even a complete non event as no announcement exists or is planned?

He made a point of appearing with several Korean war veterans in officially produced pictures looking remarkably healthy:

I think they might be letting him to meet more people, which should be a good sign.

Princess Anne's oldest son appeared on Sky News Australia and said that Charles was apparently very eager to get back working, faster than his doctors apparently anticipated.

I feel like he's kind of forcing them to let him do these kinds of things.

They seem very insistent that he'll be well enough to travel by June. Which implies things are going well, or so they hope.

June is when the new banknotes will appear. It would be very sad if that were to prove a posthumous issue, though obviously whatever happens they'll be around for a while ...

It's like he's having a competition with Churchill on the £5 note to see who can look the most miserable. Bring back Stephenson and Fry fivers.

Catherine/Kate's condition is probably more serious than Charles'. We know his cancer was caught early. I'm not convinced it's as serious with him.
