In fact, I saw him on the evening news today and thought to myself that something is wrong health-wise.

If you don't know who he was or what he did, how can you call him "influential"? Or is this just "copy and paste"?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4364468/Wheelchair-bound-Eric-Clapton-71-looks-frail.html Spotted this article on Eric Clapton being in frail health and couldn't find a specific Eric Clapton thread in which to post it which surprised me so I decided it was time to start one for this musical legendary.

Hello I'm Anes. I live in Italy but I'm originally from Morocco. I'm a master student and an art enthusiast who just loves the idea of this site. So, I decided that today I will become part of this community! Ahem, that's all I have for the moment.

https://cruxnow.com/vatican/2017/04/09/pope-francis-hints-may-not-around-2019/ Pope Francis says he may not be around in 2019, hinting at his own mortality multiple times in a matter of minutes.

Not really Ideas for 2018 (at least, I hope not) but Jim Broadbent was looking and sounding rather OAP-ish on Marr's show earlier. Well, more than usual imo. I was going to say how its funny how Brian Taylor is two years younger than Gavin Esler but no one would twig that without knowing, but no one would get that one bar Willz and charon...

What it is, SC doesn't put his cut-and-paste bits in a quote box. I often don't do that since the forum change, because the quoted bits tend to get left behind now if someone quotes the post. I usually put it in quotation marks and/or italics instead. Might be clearer if SC did that, to make it more obvious where he's quoting. Also SC incorporates his links into the text rather than just copy/pasting the url.

Although I do copy and paste on occasion, the great majority of my posts are just that-my posts.

Emma Betts provides a FFBI single point to Heef and Rad Guy. This alllows Rad Guy to take a slender lead against DDT. 1. DDT vs Rad’s Die-monds in the Sky (Rad Guy) 0-1 2. “O” (Gcreptile) vs William Henry Harrison Die-in-a-Month Squad (Death Impends) 2-6 3. 101 Great Practical Jokes with Luciano Re Cecconi (Spade Cooley) vs Deadsox 2-0 4. The GUN’11 (Grim Up North) vs Heef 2-1

I played a ladyboy in that scene of the show. High heels, leopardskin print dress. Came off stage to this: Dad: She's a bit of all right. Mum: That's your son.

I really don't get why anybody takes this personally. The list has nothing to do with any of us. We don't have any input into the selection process. I am grateful to the committee for providing a platform in the shape of this forum for us to discuss other deadpools, invent our own, and generally witter on. But there is no "we" in regard to the Deathlist.

I still think it's worth the wheelchair caveat, because people have a tendency to go off and say, "Oh, it's so sad, so-and-so's in a wheelchair now".

He is actually 72 years old and not 71. Happy Birthday, dear Eric! One of the greatest guitarist.

Does that wheelchair have Disraeli gears?

Wow. I must be psychic. I hadn't seen any news on Eric but I was just thinking last night that his booze-and-drugs past must be due to catch up with him and I was contemplating starting a thread on him. Maybe it was a subconscious association because I was posting in the Phil Collins thread the other day or because of Chuck Berry's passing but it is a bit eerie to see this thread here now.
