2 pointsHoping his bit on the side has a heart to heart with her hubby and stays with him now. That way, he's lost his wife, his job and his back-up plan. Hilariously, he and BoJo seem to think this is the end of the matter. How about giving us some details of how long this has been going on. Not because I care remotely about the sordid details, but because she's been working on our behalf and by his side since March last year and paid by the taxpayer for nearly a year. Did he see the pandemic as a good excuse to spend more time with his mistress? Just how long has he been telling us how important it is to stick to the rules while breaking them the minute he's off camera? The man should be finished in politics, but we all know he'll be back in Cabinet by the New Year. I particularly liked this line from the BBC article yesterday (pre-sacking): When your government's so bent that none of them can resign because all of them will end up resigning. Also: is there anybody Matt Hancock's ever met who hasn't received money from the taxpayer at this point..?

2 pointsDumped her while she was looking after his kids while recovering from covid issues he passed onto her. Fucking hell, the man's a complete cunt.
-
2 pointsThe cunt has already dumped his wife, depriving her of the opportunity to dump him. And he has the nerve to claim that he needs to spend time with his children now. He should be so fucking lucky.

2 pointsAwww, very sad (but not that unexpected). A highly original voice has gone. Some of his stuff takes getting used to, some of it is just absolutely beautiful. I'll listen to him today and in the coming days, a lot.

1 pointAny news on Kat "dying of stage four liver failure" Bjelland? If she doesn't die she will take the "six people six months" pool for a third round. Everything I could find is some reddit user saying that she has "beaten" it:

1 pointThe great Jack Lemmon, one of Hollywood's most accomplished and beloved actors, died at USC/Norris Cancer Center in Los Angeles from complications of colon cancer that had spread to his bladder; he had suffered from the disease privately for two years before his death, with his wife, actress Felicia Farr, his two children and a stepdaughter at his bedside, on this date in 2001. He was 76 years old. One of the most versatile actors of his generation. Lemmon won two Oscars, three BAFTAs, five Golden Globes and an Emmy. Best remembered by the public for his many roles opposite Walter Matthau. He was voted the 33rd Greatest Film Star of all time by Entertainment Weekly. Jack Lemmon was interred at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Westwood, California buried near his friend Walter Matthau who died almost exactly one year before Lemmon.

1 pointI just found out that she's still alive a few days ago. Wouldn't have thought she would be, as Sadat was assasinated in 1981 and was already in his 60s back then. There are a ton of other widows of former African leaders, too... Mobutu Sese Seko's widow Bobi Ladawa (b. 1945), Mohamed Boudiaf's widow Fatiha Boudiaf (b. 1944), Thomas Sankara's widow Mariam Sankara (b. 1953), Ahmed Sekou Toure's widow Andree Toure (b. 1934), Hilla Limann's widow Fulera Limann (b. 1945), Canaan Banana's widow Janet Banana (1938-2021)...the list goes on and on. Ones that fascinate me the most however are Farimang Mamadi Singateh's (1912-1977, last Governor-General of Gambia) widow Fanta Singateh (b. 1929), Jomo Kenyatta's (1897?-1978, first President of Kenya) widow Ngina Kenyatta (b. 1933) and Ivory Coast's first President Félix Houphouët-Boigny's (1905-1993) widow Marie-Thérèse Houphouët-Boigny (b. 1930).
