Christos (not) alive. The former Greek premier wasn't too keen on communists, and accordingly there's no mass distribution of points here with only MariNisia smashing plates and going "OPPA" in celebration. Just 3 points though as he was also picked by the bye-receiving Old Crem. BabyBlue 4 v. An Fear Beag 0 ThereWillBeDeaths7 0 v. MariNisia 3

I am not going to enforce the rule in this round because it would be unfair to do so after the game as gone so far and I take responsibility because I didn't pick up on it at the start of the game (and no other player raised an objection) but techincally All You Need Is Cash will be an ineligible pick in future rounds because it did not have a theatrical release. This will be a bit of a tricky one when it comes to modern releases because of streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon have now become eligible for Oscar nomination even though they do not always have a theatrical release. I think I will introduce a cut off date after which streaming releases will be allowed and any TV movies released before this time will not. However to be clear this will not detract from a win by @YorkshireBanker if he achieves it in this round

It's written a little overly dramatic: He's still tweeting like crazy, not on his deathbed yet. Still, cant tell if it's just a regular chemo cycle that's about to begin, or whether the tumour starting growing again. The latter would not be what I'd like to hear in February (nor would, Tom). Edit: It still seems though that some March appearances are still on?

Norman was a frequent header of the ball, so I wonder if it's dementia linked, but not confirmed to the media. I really can't understand why there is such desperation to announce deaths on social media, it's getting worse and worse. Surely just wait for the club to announce it officially via the family. In Norman's case, he is a legend for Spurs so it's not as if he'll die under the radar.

Well, I was looking for info on Princess Felicitas von Salm-Horstmar, as you do, picked in the DDP. Well, she's alive, apparently, her birthday seems to be 31st of March 1920, and well, that would make her the second-oldest European royal ever, according to this list: http://www.royaltymonarchy.com/royfacts/longlives.html She recently overtook the Queen Mum, and now only has Princess Alice in front of her, still at a healthy distance though.

There's a twig on my family tree with a most unusual surname, but incredibly there are two Miriam Joyce Wankbadgers born in the same year in the same registration district. (The surname isn't really Wankbadger.)

Nobody has actually proposed another lockdown. I think what “we guys” largely want is a complete Gooseberry enema-style clear out of abhorrent, lying narcissists. The biggest step is to remove this corrupt administration we have now; not just the leader, the whole thing, even if the alternative isn’t as promising as it should be.

I should add, and repeat, that what remains for me to do is to update the team data, i.e. name changes, years in DDP, (THEME) designations, team descriptions, and highest rank. I have to change a little in the way the DDP files work to make it more automatic. It's a long-term investment so to say, and it will be done. But for the time being some of these team things might be a little out of date or wrong.

Travel writer Simon Calder has 'no further plans' to visit Wales after abuse "A travel writer said he received "such intense abuse" when he suggested people visit Wales that he has "no further plans" to book a stay in the country. Speaking on ITV's This Morning earlier this week, Simon Calder listed Gwynedd and Ceredigion, as well as Belfast and Edinburgh, as places people could go. But he said he then received a torrent of abuse via email and social media."
