I do find it funny that all those people who don’t understand that there is a protocol for the Queens death with very specific ways of communicating the news and seem to think it COULD be leaked are the same people who suggest (when she hasn’t been seen for some time) that she has already died and it has been covered up intimating it COULDN’T be leaked……

Lord knows if the Queen died we'd all be looking to Hollywood Unlocked to break the news...

With the official cancellation of The Wendy Williams Show due to Wendy's "medical issues", I believe this has now entered thread territory.

Died in January, completely missed by me (and seemingly the forum?) but worthy of a mention. Nils Arne Eggen, aged 80. He was the football manager who absolutely dominated the Norwegian league with Rosenborg in the 90s and turn of this century, turning the Norwegian side into a hard nut to crack in Europe who famously beat English champs Blackburn Rovers, and also got to the Champions League quarterfinals once (!). When he retired, he said Rosenborg would go onto become a giant of the European game, which is not one of the more successful predictions there's been. Also he used to call defensive football "arse football" which is still a common quotation in Europe. The Sun produced an obit unnoticed at the time.

Twitter reporting the death of Judith Pipher, a noted American astrophysicist and observational astronomer. She was 81 or 82. Pipher was a professor emeritus at the University of Rochester and director of the C.E.K. Mees Observatory from 1979 to 1994.

The news first leaking to a random gossip blog in a different country is about as likely as it first leaking to that WhatsApp group chat that had a dick pic as the avatar.

whilst this is all bollocks obviously this is how it would leak if it did happen. American websites reporting it. Press embargo would be present in UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc until it was annnounced by the Palace with the code word fun and games. Lets remember King George V was euthanized by his doctor so that it wasnt announced in the evening news. There would be literally no chance in hell of the Queen dying and it being announced at 11pm on a week day. As modern as the world gets the royal family still maintain this backward system...only change is we may get an instagram post at 8am as well as the little notice pinned to the gates of the palace.... But nope Lizzie is alive and well for at least another 7-8 years
