Two things that are really inconvenient about Wikipedia. On the pages for politicians, monarchs, statesmen etc., they list all their appointments, terms of office etc before the actual biographical details. So you have to scroll down some considerable way to find out the basics. That should come first. Pronunciation guide. It's fine for English, hover over the phonetics and it guides you through the pronunciation for each letter. But for any other language it refers you the full page IPA guide to the language in question, which is hard work. Why can't they do the same? Even better, they could include an audible pronunciation - some pages have that, but not many. Example - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serge_Gainsbourg Oh and a third thing of course is despite promising not to pester you after you've donated, they do. Over and over again. This has achieved the result of me not donating any more. Well done.

Been in Queenstown the last few days. Believe it or not, this is NZ’s idea of a major city.

@livingbygrace... The Deathlist Cup might be an excellent opportunity for your "great picks". @ThereWillBeDeaths7, your opponent, is a notable player and you need experience. Don't you think so?

Jesus, do all US Senators have 5 million word essays on their political beliefs on Wikipedia? You guys should have the best informed voter base in the world if everyone took the time to read that before casting a ballot. I know more about her political positions in one paragraph of that article than I know about my own local MP's views on everything through scraping through his entire social media accounts.

I already did put in my names for the Cup..It is definitely a different one being you have to try and pick people you think will die in one month instead of in a year. Yes Please give the experience to therewillbedeath7. I am really still a baby at this. This is my first year playing in the pools. I on my own did my own shadow list for last 2 years, and I can tell you my number of hits were not great. Nothing to write home about I a sure you. All I am hoping for is to maybe improve and have some fun doing so. If I get knocked out first round I am good, and know I played against a great player.

They'd do well to ignore the manufacturers. I thought my Jaguar had 'headlights'. No, actually; it has 'Signature Matrix', according to the car's menus. It's all just a load of pretentious piffle.

Thing is, though, you all picked a non-celebrity. It's not a matter of shrugging it off because there should've been no expectation of that pick even being allowed. Rantzen actually had a notable career.

I have produced a different graph today which is on a slightly different basis There are only four lines on this one so I hope it is easier to read There is the current record holding year 2020 The current year 2024 The average date that each numbered death (Up to 13) has occurred across the past 10 years The line that would deliver us a new record breaking year on a pro-rata basis (One death every 17 days)

They're already on there - if you go into 'inspect element' and change the year of death to 2022 then they'll show up. The index has lots of hidden features accessible with inspect element - like searching by date of birth, date of death, age at death, etc. Never understood why they actually have all this data on the website if it's hidden - presumably to get folk to spend money on actual certificates to find this data?
