Yeah, tell me you don't know what terrorism means without telling me you don't know what terrorism means. They're sat in a fucking corridor. They're disruptors, not terrorists.

To tie both conversations together, perhaps Williams is going with a novel weight reduction technique:

Thank you everyone who have sent in a flurry of teams over the weekend. I will try to start working through the verification but I am a bit behind at the moment. The game will start on 1st August and when the lists get published I will update any hits that have occurred. Those who have not been verified keep an eye out for any challenges or confirmation over the next few days

And he'll have to watch Clive Myrie anchoring the bulletin that announces that!

Where is this going to end? It was a totally inoffensive jest.

Was going to stick with the thread theme and say GB are gold in Fucking Horses but that wouldn’t be right.

It's the 45th time Tiramisu inventor dies. Stop feeding bullshit journalism.

Dan knows the score, he's already said he's prioritising doubles with Andy over his singles performance. You could tell last night he desperately wanted to win it for Andy, and was flabbergasted by the victory afterwards. The main reason it's been quite so Andy-heavy is the manner of victory as well: saving 5 straight match points to win is very much Andy's trademark. Anyway, the Scot's getting all the plaudits and they've forgotten about the Englishman - stop complaining.

With the now confirmed passing of Ray Lawler the earliest surviving play author to win the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Play leaps forward by 15 years to Tom Stoppard although the oldest is Athol Fugard. I worked alongside him in the Rough Trade warehouse for a few weeks in 1988 but don’t remember talking to him. What a useless anecdote, Vinegar Tits would be horrified. I apologise to everyone.

The last time this thread had had activity before this post, there were still a handful of WW1 veterans living in the UK. Why did you feel it important to resurrect it to post this garbage?

Back in 1995 or so I was given a red crab beanie baby because I’m a Cancer (save the remarks). My soon to be ex expressed liking it, and so I said sure take it (on her way out the door). Around a couple years later when the beanie baby boom really took off, I discovered my crab was one of the original 9 beanie babies, “Digger”, and was valued at $900 US. To be fair, I’m certain she had zero knowledge of the value either, it was just cute.
