Windsor 2,233 Posted February 8, 2021 Was reminded that the Antiques Roadshow’s Henry Sandon is still alive while watching ‘The Green, Green Grass’. Turns 93 this year and strikes me as one of those who could die at any minute or live to 100.

Just had to check on the geezer who played Elgin Sparrowhawk (David Ross). Had no idea he’s younger than John Challis!
Ulitzer95 12,585 Posted February 8, 2021 I don't think he'll make 2022 but worth flagging that 94-year old American poet Robert Bly (wiki) has been suffering from Alzheimer's from at least 2012 (when his daughter made it public) and released his last piece of collection of poems in 2013. Not a DDP pick unfortunately. Legendary actress Frances Sternhagen (wiki), only ever once floated as an idea on DL, hasn't appeared in anything since 2014. She turned 91 last month. I can't find anything on her from the last 5 years. No interviews, photos, health updates. Nada. Ill? I'm not the only one who suspects so as she's a pick for two DDP teams.

Ulitzer95 12,585 Posted February 21, 2021 Rewatched My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) tonight. I was surprised to read that not only was a sequel released in 2016, but all cast members were still alive and reprised their roles too. Michael Constantine who played the crazy Greek father of the bride is 94 in May. He looks like he was circling in 2016 to be honest. Surely can’t last much longer. What totally shocked me though was that the granny in the films (ie the mother of Constantine’s character) is still alive and she’s ancient! A little known actress called Bess Meisler. No DOB on Google but Ancestry reveals she was born in January 1923.

Spade_Cooley 9,515 Posted February 22, 2021 Got around to watching that How to Mend A Broken Heart documentary about the Bee Gees the other night. Great way to spend two hours, but one of the talking heads for it was Studio 54 DJ Nicky Siano, and he looked like he was definitely suffering with something. Should be a straight-forward QO.
