TQR 14,454 Posted January 1, 2022 I had an inkling I’d made a bit of an error putting him on my Shadow List. Now I’ve seen this legend on the official DL, I fucking know I have.

The Old Crem 3,628 Posted January 1, 2022 He is in the rare group of people picked for health issues that are not widespread known about.
Ulitzer95 12,844 Posted January 1, 2022 Whilst some users are being quite complimentary, I can’t take credit for this pick. I merely noted he wasn’t on the invite list for the Harry Potter reunion. Other users waded in with health rumours and the fact he hadn’t acted for a couple of years.
Octopus of Odstock 2,217 Posted March 12, 2022 Looks well here. Certainly seems active mentally and although he has a walking stick, note Quote With walking stick in hand, Sir Michael spent about 90 minutes at the Fenn Bell, looking round the zoo despite the heavy rain. https://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/news/dumbledores-here-michael-gambon-pays-visit-to-kent-pub-263848/

Octopus of Odstock 2,217 Posted March 13, 2022 I would say though, based on above evidence, he has a good chance of being here in 2023 and is unlikely to be a 2022 hit.

Good news, though. (And it's always the same. "This person's in hospice care", ignored. "Oh Michael Gambon's got memory issues and hasn't been seen in a while" - fast tracked to the front page! )
gcreptile 11,073 Posted October 9, 2022 Most recent thing I could find: https://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/news/harry-potter-star-feeds-lemurs-at-kent-zoo-266787/ He feeds animals at the zoo. The photo shows him being old, a little haggard, but still age appropriate, in my opinion. If he has dementia, it's pretty early. Edit: So yeah, this is not the same article Ulitzer already posted. It's just that he was once in the Zoo in march, and then again, in May. Maybe he had forgotten he was in the zoo just two months before? 3 1
The Daredevil 1,193 Posted October 15, 2022 Does anyone know if Gambon has payed tribute to Coltrane, his co-star in The Harry Potter films? I cannot find anything, which might be cause for concern, despite Gambon looking ok in recent photos. I hope Gambon’s memory loss hasn’t deteriorated to the point that he cannot remember his work with Coltrane...
gcreptile 11,073 Posted October 15, 2022 By the way, just a few days ago he visited the Zoo for a fourth time (guess we missed the third time): https://www.kentonline.co.uk/gravesend/news/michael-gambon-surprises-kent-zoo-with-fourth-visit-274908/ Looks okay. 1

This is very much starting to look like "a regular activity" orchestrated by some kind of loved one in order to keep him active. I personally don't think he looks good in those pics He's aged/deteriorated rapidly in just a few years.
The Daredevil 1,193 Posted October 15, 2022 Quite a few of the Harry Potter actors haven’t lived very long actually, so Gambon should watch out. Richard Harris (72) Robbie Coltrane (72) Richard Griffiths (65) Alan Rickman (69) Helen McCrory (52)
