Ulitzer95 12,586 Posted March 1, 2022 Telegraph reporting that satellite images show a 3 mile column of tanks and troops heading to Kyiv. Sadly, I'm not sure that the Ukrainians, and indeed Zelensky, will be able to hold out for much longer.

If true, I just namechecked him in the obit for the Belarus guy two days ago! Even quicker mention-to-death span than Liz Sheridan. It's always random cases like that and never the Kissinger jokes...

YoungWillz 21,036 Posted February 8, 2023 So, he's in the UK and about to address Parliament. Which probably means the perennially absent Boris Johnson might turn up to the Houses of Parliament. I hope foregoing the hundreds of thousands of pounds he's raking in for interviews and speeches is worth it - we know he is struggling by on his meagre income. Anyhoo, no doubt Zelenskyy will ask for all kinds of weaponry which the UK can't or won't provide. And where's his tie? Formal etiquette demands it.

the_engineer 1,415 Posted May 4, 2023 Still think his assassination would big a big trigger point for WW3. With the attempts at Putin's life it'll be interesting if there's any reprisals. Also worth noting Zelensky is out of the country conveniently when it happened.
