Gooseberry Crumble 5,338 Posted January 1, 2023 @msc Sorry for delay but my tasty Crumble Teams are now posted!! Delay as I was trying to be good by going for a walk in a park to burn off my Christmas excess , start the year healthily and enable to fit into my new underwear as I am borderline about to go up into the next size if I don't!! Gooseberry Crumble 5,338 Posted January 1, 2023 For the benefit of pool runners @Death Impends and @gcreptile The Peter Christian actor in my Gooseberry team is the 75 year old Liverpool actor who played Frank Rogers in Brookside and not another actor called Peter Christian. In the initial information I submitted I wrongly described Gary Tobian as a swimmer not diver in my Apricot Crumble team. Cheers! 1

Good advice!! My information indicated his hedonism 'hard partying ' lifestyle went way beyond his years in Five Stars peak years of fame. I decided it was long shot punt that was worth it.
Salmon Mousse 473 Posted January 1, 2023 2023 Main Team Entry (and some thoughts): The Salmon Mousse Rob Burrow - JOKER - his look reminds me of Marian Cisovsky's right before he went. Rhod Gilbert - basic stage 4 pick Kate Keltie - hate breast cancer picks but her age and the dire reports made her unavoidable Denny Crum - certain to go in 2023, certain to only get me 6 points. Should've changed him out but just couldn't resist the somewhat underground name. Jonnie Irwin Frank McGarvey - already a hit Michael Tilson Thomas - honestly, have major doubts he'll go in 2023 Simon Cowell Steve McMichael Frank Field - this guy bugs me. Surely this is his year, right? Gianluca Vialli Johnny Ruffo - have the same doubts about him as I do about Thomas but I'm also still feeling the sting of dropping Parker last year Jeanette Lee - ESPN's recent 30 for 30 about her solidified this pick Janey Godley - the last person in. Was between her and Kerri Parker but Godley will probably Drop 40. Steve DiMeglio - in the mid-500s with his chemo treatments, thin as a rail, but fighting. Bit of a QO risk but given that he received well-wishes from every top pro when his cancer was announced I feel he'll find one. George Alagiah Ryuichi Sakamoto David J. Linden - a major QO risk but he has been mentioned in The Guardian in the past and last year's ultra-safe lineup ended in disaster James Whale - surely it's his year, right? Shannen Doherty - just seems to be fading out
maryportfuncity 10,645 Posted January 1, 2023 Re the discussion on Mark Stokes above, I've been digging for evidence of his demise (since he announced he was quitting Twitter and "the whole show" - i.e. life - on 18 December). No evidence he's departed the whole show yet. A Deathrace pick too, so likely to score well there given his current predicament.

He was on my list but removed him as he will hardly be a memorable pick.

gcreptile 10,966 Posted January 1, 2023 It's somewhat funny how the players are taking away the unique picks from each other, in a way that you can't rely on them at all, unless they're extremely late news or extremely risky. Going for unique picks is ...probably... overrated, but it does come with bragging rights.
