yes I know, I've considered a few others "lasts" such as Ethel Caterham, last subject of Edward VII, but as I said in front page, I just included the names listed on the "List of last survivors of historical events" of Wikipedia. This is easier to keep track when one dies + there is no real obscure names + there would be too many people to put if it wasn't for this rule, some of them we wouldn't be even sure are still alive or are the real lasts.

He is not an obscure person at all and won't go unreported when he dies.

But he's not on the wiki list. If I include him, then it's an open door for all inclusions outside the wikipedia list which would, again, be too complicated to keep track of. If ever he gets included into the wiki list, then he'll be added to this sweepstake. Siatka and Krestic were both the newcomers in recent rounds because they were just added to the list. The guy doesn't even have a wiki page, which was another pre-requisite to be qualified in this pool (hence why I didn't include older people than those on the list for example).

I concede it's a bit of an arbitrary rule, but you have to put boundaries somewhere.
