Soft Cell is tremendously out of place on this list.  All the songs that remain are good, the level of ‘goodness’ remains debatable but they are all to be looked upon favorably.  All except Torch.  I would say ‘Sir Creep maybe you’re missing something’, but I guess my country missed it as a whole as it’s the only remaining song that didn’t chart; hell, I don’t recall it ever receiving airplay, and we bought a fuck of a lot of Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret (peaked at #22 in USA).  ‘Not receiving airplay’ can be said of almost all of Soft Cell’s work, save the obvious track.  One-hit wonders, and half of that was a cover song, so half-hit wonders. Interestingly, while their last three albums were finding their way into the top 10 in the UK, they literally failed to chart at all in any other country.  That tells me it isn’t Sir Creep or the USA or every other country that is missing something, it’s the UK that somehow got hoodwinked into tepid plunky keyboard offerings like Torch.
