Lipps Inc & Stevie = Two genres

Diana & Lipps Inc = One genre done to varying standards; one genuine bop and one Shrek thing

 

Only two people’s votes gap between Lipps Inc and Stevie, and we’ve only been on this round for four days. Why the rush to end it?

The top 3 are much better than the other 4, IMO Masterblaster is the best of a pretty average bottom 4, although not a patch on Stevie's 70s stuff. 

Love a lot of her earlier stuff, but UD is a very average disco record. If I liked disco music I'd prefer Lipps Inc, but I (mostly) don't.

Love Emma and Say a little prayer but No doubt about it is not one of HC's better ones.

5 through I think and I want Diana and Lipps Inc to join the top 3. Love Stevie but this one does little for me. The Hot Chocolate is decent, but it's Diana and Funkytown for me!

Also thought we shot through this round. Think there's general agreement/acceptance of the top few and the others have been quickly whittled down. Now it's pretty much 4 for 2, which could still naturally end pretty quickly even without artificial manipulation.
